£825 PAYE ELECTRONIC FILING INCENTIVES - WILL YOU QUALIFY?
The Inland Revenue is to provide financial incentives of up to £825 to employers with fewer than 50 employees to encourage them to file their year-end P35 and P14’s electronically.
These incentives will run from 2004/05 to 2008/09. From 2009/10 the Inland Revenue advise that all employers will be required to file this way so you may as well register for e filing now to be able to claim the incentives below.
The incentive payments available are as follows:
2004/05 Return £250
2005/06 Return £250
2006/07 Return £150
2007/08 Return £100
2008/09 Return £75

VAT Get Registered! – Amnesty Deadline 30th September 2003
Time is running out for businesses to take advantage of Customs’ one-off scheme for businesses trading above the VAT threshold of £56,000 who have missed the time limits for registration to register without incurring penalties.
Register for VAT before 30 September 2003, provide H M Customs and Excise with information to enable them to identify when the business should have been registered and you will not have to pay a penalty. This can be as much as 15% of late paid VAT!
